This retreat is where you come when you’re ready to do THAT.
When you’re standing at the precipice, ready to:

Write your book, release your album, or hang your art in a dream gallery.

Make more money from your creative work.

Become a name-to-know in your niche.

Feel fully alive and engaged in your work.

Embody radical self-expression and unshakeable confidence.

Surpass your current idea of “possible” and create a life that lights you up.

This Retreat Is For You If:

✔ You’re an imaginative, creative human with a desire to lead a more inspired, activated life.

✔ You’re ready to let go of the self-doubt and find out what you’re REALLY capable of on the other side of fear.

✔ You’re done with spiraling in ‘idea-land;’ you want to build momentum and take action to bring your next big idea earthside.

✔ You need a few days with zero distractions—no doom-scrolling, no family obligations, no meetings, no nothing—so you can get back to the heart of who YOU really are and what’s next for your journey.

✔ You believe in the power of community and crave a circle of like-minded, supportive, ambitious creatives who will see you, get you, and call you forward.

Wildly Creative Is NOT For You If:

You’re unwilling to stretch past your comfort zone, consider new possibilities, or take action to create real change in your life.

You think people are only “real creatives” if they have an MFA, an impressive reputation, [insert your particular stipulation here]. We don’t gatekeep art or creativity. If you vibe with the word “creative,” you’re welcome to join us.

You’re looking for luxury resort vibes. Our retreat will take place deep in the forest in a somewhat rustic yet very cozy cabin. You’ll be comfy and well cared for. What you lack in cell reception, you’ll make up for in new friends, quiet moments, and babbling river water.

    Meet Your Host

    CASSIDY DICKENS

Hello and welcome! I’m Cassidy—singer-songwriter, host of the Getting Creative podcast, Founder of Lyric Creative, and Artist Mentor.

Growing up in southern West Virginia, I was surrounded by a rich tapestry of storytelling and the kind of natural beauty that fills every day with wild inspiration. I was also surrounded by people who, for a variety of complex cultural and economic reasons, were trapped in grueling careers they absolutely hated.

I’ve always had a deep gratitude for my ancestors who made a living mining coal, distilling moonshine, digging graves, and working hard to make ends meet.

But even as a child I knew deep in my bones that I was called to something else. I didn’t know how, but I knew I HAD to find a career that lit my soul up and fulfilled my sense of purpose.

At the tender age of 12, I accepted my first paying gig as a singer-songwriter. I played two hours of original music at a local restaurant… and I was hooked.

In the years since, I’ve fanned that flickering flame of inspiration into a full-on creative conflagration. I took my music dreams out of the West Virginia mountains to Nashville, where I spent 7+ years writing and singing under the neon lights.

I’ve toured the US, released three full-length albums, written for film & national TV, and collaborated with dozens of producers and recording artists.

In 2017, my love for storytelling led me to found Lyric Creative Co.—an online marketing company dedicated to helping creatives, coaches, authors, speakers, and other visionary business owners get their brilliance out into the world.

To date, I’ve helped my clients earn multiple millions of dollars doing work they love, all through the power of strategic storytelling and genuine human connection.

Today, I’m thrilled to still be actively growing my music career AND supporting other creatives as a mentor and consultant.

I’m on a mission to help creative souls like you build careers and lives that center passion, freedom, and purpose—on YOUR own terms, by YOUR own rules, in a way that reflects YOUR definition of “success.”

If you’re ready to build a creative practice that leaves you feeling inspired and lit up every day AND you love the idea of getting paid for your passions—I’m your girl. I’d be honored to help you get there.

      Questions & Answers

Q: Who is this retreat open to? Can I come if I’m not a professional artist?

This retreat is open to anyone who identifies as a “creative,” who wants to kindle that creative flame, reconnect with your sense of self and vision, and feel more fully expressed in your work and your life.

You may be a musician, a writer, a painter, a photographer, a coach, an author, a speaker, a therapist, a yoga instructor, a chef, an illustrator, a midwife, a copywriter, a designer… and the list goes on! We’re not concerned with titles or labels. If the experience speaks to you, join us!

Q: Do you offer payment plans?

Yes! We’re happy to offer payment plans for all events. Email cassidy@cassidydickens.com or DM me on Instagram @cassidydickens for more info.

Q: How "outdoorsy” are we talking here?

This experience is focused on renewing creativity, igniting inspiration, and calling you forward into your full artistic potential. We use connection to nature to facilitate your connection to self and vision.

Your cabin is in a remote location, about a 15-20 minute drive from the town of Elkins, WV, en route to some of the state’s most popular parks. Our activities will include light-moderate activity; think gentle nature walks, not hardcore hikes.

The cabin features a cozy “glamping” vibe. You can expect warm woods, stonework, private river access for swimming and sunbathing, a beautiful deck, a hot tub, heat and/or AC as required, and 3 floors of space to spread out and enjoy some alone time if you crave privacy.

That being said, guests should note that this is not a luxury resort; it’s a true forest cabin, backing up to the one-million acre Monongahela National Forest.

PS - If you’re looking for strenuous activity, there’s plenty to be found! Add a day to your trip to take advantage of local rock climbing, caving, wilderness backpacking, and more. Feel free to write to us if you have questions about this.

Q: What will the weather be like?

Early June is an ideal time to visit West Virginia. While this area is known as a winter wonderland during the colder months, early summer brings warm temperate days, pleasantly brisk nights, wildflowers, and the perfect climate for enjoying the great outdoors.

While we of course can’t make guarantees about the weather, temperatures in this area in early June average in the mid-70s, with occasional spikes to the low 80s or dips to the high 60s. Nights are a bit chillier—the perfect weather to throw your favorite hoodie over some shorts and sit by a fire.

The retreat cabin is equipped with both gas heat and central AC, so our space will be climate controlled and comfortable.

Q: Tell me more about the retreat property. What’s the cabin like?

The cabin is a cozy, rustic gem in the woods just outside of Elkins, WV. Think locally-sourced wood, stonework, a wrap-around deck, and vaulted ceilings with skylights.

The property includes a large communal kitchen, lots of cozy “conversation spaces,” and a hot tub if you want to hang out and make friends—as well as three spacious floors, a large open yard, and a private river access area, if you’d rather spend some time in solitude, reflection, and privacy.

You’ll have access to free wifi, central A/C, a whole-house fan, and a gas furnace (though we don’t expect to need the heat).

The Private Suite option includes access to your own en suite private bathroom with a jacuzzi tub.

All guests will have access to 2 shared full bathrooms.

Q: I have other questions. Who can I contact?

We’d love to chat with you! Feel free to email Cassidy at cassidy@cassidydickens.com or DM me on Instagram @cassidydickens for more information.
